Description
Tip Candy Puzzle is a digital puzzle game developed for mobile platforms. The game presents a grid-based board filled with various colored candy-shaped tokens. The objective is to clear the board by matching three or more identical candies in a row or column. Each level introduces a specific goal, such as achieving a target score, collecting a certain number of a particular candy type, or clearing jelly-covered tiles. The game employs a cascading mechanic where matched candies disappear, allowing new candies to fall from above and potentially create chain reactions. Levels are organized into a series of themed worlds, each with increasing difficulty and unique obstacles, such as chocolate blocks, locked tiles, or teleporting portals. The game includes a limited number of moves per level, and failure to meet the goal within that limit results in a loss of a life. Lives regenerate over time or can be purchased through in-game currency. The visual design features bright, saturated colors and simple, rounded candy shapes. Sound effects accompany matches and level completions. The game is free-to-play with optional microtransactions for extra moves, power-ups, or boosters.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are executed entirely through touch input on a touchscreen interface. The player interacts by tapping and dragging a single candy to an adjacent tile, swapping its position with the candy in that tile. A swap is only valid if it creates a horizontal or vertical line of three or more identical candies. If the swap does not result in a match, the candies automatically return to their original positions. After a successful match, the matched candies are removed, and the board refills from the top. The game automatically detects and executes any subsequent chain matches without additional player input. The player’s remaining moves are displayed as a counter at the top of the screen. The current level’s goal is shown in a panel, often with a progress bar. Special candies are created by matching four or five candies in a specific pattern; these include striped candies (clearing a row or column), wrapped candies (exploding in a 3x3 area), and color bombs (removing all candies of a chosen color). These special candies can be activated by swapping them with an adjacent candy. Boosters, such as a hammer that removes a single candy or a shuffle that rearranges the board, are selected from a menu before a level begins. The game provides a pause button that allows the player to restart the level or quit.
