Description
Tile Farm Story: Matching Game is a puzzle video game that combines tile-matching mechanics with farm management themes. Developed for mobile platforms, the game presents a grid-based board populated with various farm-related icons, such as crops, animals, tools, and produce. The objective is to clear the board by selecting and matching pairs of identical tiles, with each successful match removing those tiles from play. The game progresses through a series of levels, each with a specific target, such as clearing all tiles within a limited number of moves or within a time constraint. As levels are completed, the player earns in-game currency and resources used to develop and decorate a virtual farm. The farm serves as a persistent progression system, where upgrades and new structures become available as the player advances. The game employs a standard freemium model, offering optional purchases for additional moves, hints, or cosmetic items. Visual design features bright, cartoonish graphics with a pastoral aesthetic. Sound design includes ambient farm noises and simple musical cues. The game is available on both iOS and Android operating systems.
Instructions
Gameplay is initiated by selecting a level from a map screen. The core interaction involves tapping on two tiles on the board that share the same icon. Tiles must be selected consecutively; selecting a third tile before completing a pair cancels the previous selection. A successful match removes both tiles and awards points. The board is considered cleared when all tiles are matched. Some levels introduce obstacles, such as frozen tiles that require multiple matches to unlock, or tiles that are partially hidden. A move counter is displayed at the top of the screen, decrementing with each pair selection. If the move counter reaches zero before the board is cleared, the level is failed. A timer may replace the move counter in certain levels. The player can use power-ups, such as a shuffle that rearranges all remaining tiles, or a hint that highlights a valid pair. These power-ups are limited and can be earned or purchased. The farm interface is accessed from the main menu. Here, the player can place buildings, plant crops, and raise animals using currency earned from matching. The farm does not affect the matching gameplay directly but provides a secondary goal and visual customization. Controls are entirely touch-based: tapping selects tiles, swiping may be used to navigate the farm view, and buttons on the screen activate menus and power-ups. No physical controller or keyboard input is supported.
