Description
Puzzle Funny Animals is a digital puzzle game developed for mobile platforms, released in 2018 by the studio AppQuiz. The game is categorized as an educational puzzle game aimed at preschool and early elementary school children. Its core objective is to assemble fragmented images of various animals into complete pictures. The game features a collection of over 60 animal illustrations, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and marine life, each rendered in a simplified, cartoon-style art direction. The puzzles are divided into multiple difficulty levels, ranging from 6-piece puzzles for beginners to 25-piece puzzles for more advanced players. The interface is designed with large, touch-friendly tiles and a bright color palette. No text or reading is required to navigate the main menu, as all options are represented by icons. The game does not include timers, scoring systems, or competitive elements, focusing solely on the completion of each puzzle. Sound effects, such as animal noises, play upon the successful assembly of a puzzle. The application contains no in-app purchases or third-party advertisements in its standard version.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are initiated by selecting a puzzle from the main menu, which displays a grid of animal icons. The player taps on an animal icon to begin its corresponding puzzle. The puzzle board presents a scrambled set of square tiles on the left side of the screen, with a faint outline of the completed image on the right side as a reference. The player moves a tile by touching and dragging it with a finger to the correct position on the reference grid. The tile snaps into place when positioned within a defined proximity of its correct slot. A tile can be moved back to the scrambled area at any time by dragging it away from the grid. The game provides a visual hint system: a button in the top-right corner, when tapped, briefly displays the completed image over the puzzle board for three seconds. The player progresses to the next puzzle automatically after the current one is finished. The interface includes a back button to return to the animal selection menu and a settings button to adjust sound volume. No external controllers or keyboard inputs are supported; all interactions are performed through single-finger touch gestures.
