Description

Fruit Picking Fun Game is a digital simulation released in 2023 by independent developer GreenOrchard Studios. The game places the player in the role of a seasonal harvester on a series of procedurally generated farms. The primary objective is to collect ripe fruit from trees, bushes, and vines within a set time limit. The game features a low-polygon art style with a bright, saturated color palette. Environments include orchards, berry patches, and vineyards, each containing distinct fruit types such as apples, cherries, blueberries, and grapes. A scoring system awards points based on the quantity and quality of fruit collected, with bonuses for perfect ripeness and streak combos. The game includes a single-player campaign mode with escalating difficulty and a local multiplayer mode for up to four players. No narrative or character development is present; the focus remains entirely on the mechanical act of harvesting.

Instructions

Gameplay is controlled through a third-person perspective. The player character moves using the left analog stick or the W, A, S, D keys. The right analog stick or mouse controls the camera view. To pick fruit, the player must position the character near a harvestable plant and press the action button (E key or A button on a controller). A visual indicator, such as a glowing outline or a floating icon, appears above fruit that is ready for collection. The player holds a basket that fills visually as fruit is added. When the basket reaches capacity, the player must deposit its contents at a designated collection point, marked by a crate icon on the minimap. Failure to deposit before the basket overflows results in lost fruit. The game also includes a sprint function (Shift key or left stick click) for faster movement, but this drains a stamina bar. Stamina regenerates when the player is stationary or walking. Environmental hazards, such as falling branches or startled bees, require the player to dodge using the spacebar or a face button. A timer is displayed in the upper-right corner of the screen, counting down from the level’s time limit. The pause menu (Escape key or Start button) allows the player to adjust volume, sensitivity, and control remapping.
