Description
Fire Truck Rescue Simulator is a vehicle operation and emergency response simulation game developed by a small independent studio. The game places the player in the role of a firefighter driver tasked with navigating a detailed urban environment to reach various emergency scenes. The primary objective involves driving a fire truck from a central fire station to procedurally generated incident locations, such as building fires, traffic collisions, or chemical spills. The game emphasizes realistic vehicle physics, including weight distribution, braking distance, and turning radius, which affect the truck’s handling. The environment features traffic, pedestrians, and weather conditions that dynamically alter driving difficulty. The player must manage the truck’s water tank levels and equipment inventory, as arriving with insufficient resources results in mission failure. The game includes a day-night cycle and a basic damage system for the vehicle. No narrative or character development is present; the focus is entirely on the operational logistics of emergency response. The game is available on PC and select console platforms.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are structured around two primary phases: navigation and incident management. The player controls the fire truck from a third-person or cockpit camera view. The left analog stick or W, A, S, D keys control acceleration, braking, and steering. The right analog stick or mouse controls camera rotation. The spacebar or handbrake button engages the parking brake for precision stops. The player must follow a GPS route displayed on a heads-up display, which highlights the fastest path to the incident. Traffic lights and road signs must be obeyed to avoid penalties; running red lights or colliding with vehicles reduces the mission score and delays response time. Upon arrival at the scene, the player must position the truck within a marked zone. The player then switches to a stationary mode using the E key or a dedicated button. In this mode, the player uses the mouse to aim a water cannon or foam nozzle at the fire source. The left mouse button activates the stream, and the right mouse button adjusts the spray pattern. The player must monitor a water pressure gauge and refill the tank at hydrants marked on the map. The game also includes a siren toggle (Q key) to clear traffic and a hazard light function (F key) for parking. Mission completion is determined by extinguishing all fire sources or neutralizing the hazard within a time limit.
