Description

Cute Rabbit Puzzle is a single-player tile-matching puzzle video game developed by the independent studio Pixel Burrow and released in 2023 for mobile platforms and personal computers. The game presents a grid-based playing field populated by tiles depicting various stylized rabbit characters, carrots, and floral elements. The objective is to clear the board by selecting and removing adjacent tiles that share a common visual attribute, such as color or pattern. The game features a progression system of over one hundred levels, each with a predetermined number of moves or a time limit. Difficulty increases through the introduction of obstacles, including frozen tiles, stone blocks, and moving barriers that restrict tile selection. A scoring system awards points based on the number of tiles cleared in a single action, with chain reactions providing bonus multipliers. The visual design employs a pastel color palette and simple, rounded character models. The game includes a hint system that highlights possible moves when the player is inactive for a set duration. No narrative or character dialogue is present; the game focuses solely on the puzzle mechanics.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are executed through a point-and-click or touch interface. The player selects a single tile by tapping or clicking on it. The selected tile is highlighted. The player then selects a second tile that is orthogonally adjacent (sharing a side, not a corner) to the first. If both tiles share the same visual attribute, they are removed from the grid, and the tiles above them fall downward to fill the empty spaces. New tiles may also spawn from the top of the grid to replace removed ones. If the selected tiles do not match, the selection is cleared, and no tiles are removed. The player must clear a specific number of tiles or achieve a target score within the level’s move or time limit to advance. Obstacles such as frozen tiles require two matches on adjacent tiles to be removed. Stone blocks cannot be selected and must be cleared by matching tiles directly next to them. The game provides a pause menu that allows the player to restart the current level or return to the level selection screen. No keyboard shortcuts are available; all actions are performed via the primary input device.
