Description

Bubble Wheel Halloween is a casual puzzle game released for mobile platforms and web browsers. The game combines elements of bubble-shooting and wheel-spinning mechanics within a Halloween-themed visual setting. The objective is to clear a playfield of colored bubbles by matching three or more of the same color. The game distinguishes itself through a central rotating wheel that holds the bubble grid, which periodically turns to alter the alignment of bubbles. The Halloween theme is expressed through the use of jack-o'-lantern, ghost, and bat icons on the bubbles, along with dark, purple, and orange color palettes. The game includes a scoring system that awards points for each bubble cleared, with bonus multipliers for chain reactions and consecutive matches. Levels increase in difficulty by introducing more bubble colors, faster wheel rotation speeds, and obstacles such as locked bubbles that require multiple hits to remove. Power-ups, including a color bomb that clears all bubbles of a chosen color and a slow-motion effect that reduces wheel speed, are available for purchase or earned through gameplay milestones. The game does not feature a narrative or character progression; it is structured as a series of discrete levels with increasing challenge.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are based on a touch or mouse interface. The player aims a projectile bubble from a launcher located at the bottom of the screen. The launcher is fixed in position but can be rotated left or right by dragging the finger or mouse horizontally across the lower portion of the screen. A dotted trajectory line indicates the predicted path of the bubble. The player releases the bubble by tapping or clicking the launcher. The bubble travels in a straight line until it contacts an existing bubble or the top boundary of the playfield. Upon contact, the bubble locks into the nearest grid position. If three or more bubbles of the same color are connected, they are removed from the grid. Any bubbles that are not connected to the top of the playfield after a match are also removed. The central wheel rotates automatically at a set interval, typically every few seconds, shifting the entire grid by one column. The player must account for this rotation when aiming. The game ends when any bubble is pushed below a horizontal line near the bottom of the screen. The player can also use a manual spin button to rotate the wheel one step in a chosen direction, consuming a limited resource. The interface displays the current score, level number, remaining bubbles in the queue, and available power-ups.
