Description

2048 Cube Winner is a puzzle video game released for mobile platforms and web browsers. The game is a three-dimensional adaptation of the sliding tile puzzle genre popularized by the original 2048 game. The core objective involves merging numbered cubes on a three-dimensional grid to reach the tile value of 2048. The game environment consists of a cubic playing field, typically a 4x4x4 or 5x5x5 volume, where each cell can contain a single cube. Cubes are generated with a base value of 2 or 4. The player manipulates the entire grid by rotating the cube structure along its axes. When two cubes of the same number collide during a rotation, they merge into a single cube with a doubled value. The game ends when the grid becomes full and no further merges are possible. The interface displays the current score, the highest value cube achieved, and a counter for remaining moves or a timer, depending on the game mode. The game includes a leaderboard system for comparing scores. Visual feedback is provided through color-coded cubes that change hue as their numerical value increases. The game does not include any narrative or character elements.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are based on rotating the entire three-dimensional grid rather than sliding individual tiles. The player interacts with the cube structure using touch gestures or mouse input. On touchscreen devices, a swipe in any direction rotates the entire grid 90 degrees along the corresponding axis. On desktop platforms, arrow keys or WASD keys perform the same rotation. A rotation causes all cubes to fall in the direction of gravity relative to the new orientation. Cubes move until they encounter another cube or the boundary of the grid. When two cubes of identical value occupy adjacent cells after a rotation, they merge into one cube in the cell farthest in the direction of movement. The merged cube’s value is the sum of the two original cubes. After each rotation, a new cube with a value of 2 or 4 appears in a random empty cell. The player can also use a "shuffle" function, which randomly rearranges all existing cubes on the grid without merging them, typically limited to a set number of uses per game. The game provides an undo button that reverts the last rotation, also with a limited number of uses. The interface includes a pause button that freezes the game and hides the grid. The score is calculated by adding the value of each merged cube to the total. The game ends when no empty cells remain and no adjacent cubes share the same value.
