Wordle Guess Word is a digital word puzzle game released in 2022. The game presents a single daily puzzle where the player must deduce a five-letter target word within six attempts. Each guess must be a valid five-letter word. The game provides immediate feedback on each guess by color-coding the letters. A green tile indicates the letter is correct and in the correct position. A yellow tile indicates the letter is present in the target word but in a different position. A gray tile indicates the letter is not present in the target word at all. The game uses a predefined list of answer words and a larger list of valid guess words. The puzzle resets once every 24 hours for all players globally, ensuring a shared experience. The game does not include a timer, scoring system, or in-game purchases. It is available as a web application and through mobile app stores. The interface is minimal, consisting of a grid of six rows of five squares and an on-screen keyboard.

The player begins by typing a five-letter word using the on-screen keyboard or a physical keyboard. Each letter entered appears in the topmost empty row of the grid. After typing five letters, the player presses the Enter key to submit the guess. The game then evaluates the guess against the target word. Each tile in the row changes color to green, yellow, or gray based on the feedback rules. The on-screen keyboard keys also update to reflect the same color status for each letter used. The player uses this information to formulate subsequent guesses. The game ends when the player correctly guesses the word, filling all five tiles with green, or after six incorrect guesses. If the player fails to guess the word, the target word is revealed. The player can access statistics, including the number of games played, win percentage, and current streak, from a menu. The game does not allow skipping a guess or undoing a previous guess. The only controls are typing letters, pressing Enter to submit, and pressing Backspace to delete the last letter.
