Description

Truck Stack Colors is a digital puzzle game released for mobile platforms and web browsers. The game presents a logistics-themed challenge centered on the organization of colored shipping containers. The core objective involves sorting a randomized stack of containers onto a set of empty truck beds according to color. Each container is represented by a distinct color, and the game field consists of a central loading area, a series of source stacks, and a number of target truck beds. The player must move containers one at a time from the source stacks to the truck beds, with the constraint that only a container of the same color can be placed on top of another container on a truck bed. The game ends when all containers are correctly sorted onto the truck beds, or when no further legal moves are possible. The difficulty increases with the number of colors and the height of the initial stacks. The game features a clean, minimalist interface with a flat design aesthetic. No narrative or character elements are present. The game is classified as a single-player logic puzzle.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are executed through a point-and-tap or touch interface. The player interacts directly with the containers on the screen. To move a container, the player selects the top container from any source stack by tapping or clicking on it. The selected container is then lifted and held in a temporary holding position above the game field. The player then selects a target truck bed by tapping or clicking on it. If the target truck bed is empty, the container is placed onto it. If the truck bed already contains one or more containers, the player can only place the held container on top if it matches the color of the container directly below it. If the colors do not match, the move is rejected, and the container returns to its original position. The player can also return the held container to its original stack by tapping on that stack again. The game provides a limited number of undo moves, typically represented by a rewind button. A restart button resets the current level to its initial configuration. The game tracks the number of moves made and the time elapsed for each level. No other control inputs, such as keyboard keys or gestures, are required. The interface provides no tutorial beyond the initial level.
