Description
Skibidi Toilet Roll is a 2024 mobile and browser-based endless runner game developed by an independent studio, inspired by the viral "Skibidi Toilet" internet meme series. The game is presented in a 2.5D side-scrolling format with low-polygon art assets. The player controls a humanoid character with a camera head, a design element taken directly from the source material. The primary objective is to navigate a procedurally generated urban environment while avoiding obstacles that take the form of anthropomorphic toilets with human heads. The game features a single endless mode with no narrative conclusion; the session ends when the player character collides with an obstacle. A scoring system tracks the distance traveled and the number of toilets successfully evaded. The soundtrack consists of a looping electronic beat overlaid with distorted vocal samples from the original meme audio. The game is free-to-play with optional cosmetic microtransactions for character skins and trail effects.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are based on a single-tap or single-click input system. The player character automatically runs forward along a straight path. The primary action is a jump, executed by tapping the screen on mobile devices or pressing the spacebar on a keyboard. A single tap causes the character to perform a standard jump over ground-level toilets. A second tap performed while the character is airborne initiates a double jump, allowing the character to clear taller obstacles or reach elevated platforms. The game does not feature a crouch or slide mechanic. Obstacles appear in three primary forms: stationary toilets on the ground, flying toilets that move horizontally at head height, and large toilet bosses that require precise timing to jump over or onto. Collision with any obstacle results in an immediate game over. The interface displays a live distance counter in the top-left corner and a high score in the top-right corner. There are no in-game power-ups or checkpoints. The only control input is the jump action; all movement speed and obstacle generation are automated by the game engine.
