Description

Skateboard Obby 2 Player is a cooperative obstacle course game developed for the Roblox platform. The game combines two distinct gameplay genres: the "obby" (obstacle course) format, which requires players to navigate a series of physical challenges, and a skateboarding simulation, which governs the player's movement mechanics. The game is designed exclusively for two players, requiring simultaneous participation to complete each level. Each level presents a linear path composed of ramps, rails, gaps, moving platforms, and rotating hazards. The environment is rendered in a low-polygon, brightly colored art style typical of Roblox creations. Progression is achieved by both players reaching the end of a course within a shared time limit. Failure by either player to complete a section resets both participants to the last checkpoint. The game does not feature competitive modes; all objectives are cooperative. The soundtrack consists of looped electronic music tracks that do not change based on in-game events.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are structured around two distinct input sets, one for each player. Player One uses the W, A, S, and D keys for movement and the Spacebar to jump. Player Two uses the arrow keys for movement and the Enter key to jump. Both players control a character on a skateboard, which has a fixed forward momentum when moving. Turning is performed by pressing the left or right movement keys, which causes the character to pivot. Jumping allows the character to clear gaps and land on elevated surfaces. The game does not include a manual braking or reversing function; forward motion is constant once initiated. Collision with an obstacle or falling off the course results in an immediate respawn at the last activated checkpoint. Checkpoints are marked by glowing floor panels and are activated when either player passes over them. The user interface displays a timer in the top center of the screen, a checkpoint counter in the top left, and a status indicator for each player showing whether they are alive or respawning. No in-game tutorial is provided; the control scheme is learned through trial and error. The game can be restarted at any time by pressing the R key, which resets both players to the starting point.
