Description
Rush Toilet Game is a single-player mobile and browser-based arcade title developed by an independent studio, first released in 2023. The game simulates a high-pressure scenario in which the player manages a public restroom facility experiencing a sudden surge of visitors. The core objective is to guide each visitor to an available toilet stall as quickly as possible, preventing accidents and maintaining a cleanliness score. The game environment is presented from a top-down perspective, featuring a grid of stalls, a waiting area, and a cleaning station. Each visitor is represented by a simple character icon with a visible urgency meter that depletes over time. The game incorporates a resource management system where the player must allocate time between directing visitors and performing maintenance tasks, such as unclogging toilets and replenishing supplies. The difficulty escalates through increasing visitor volume, more complex restroom layouts, and the introduction of special visitor types with unique behaviors, such as those requiring accessible stalls or those who leave messes more frequently. The game ends when a visitor fails to reach a stall in time, resulting in a negative score penalty, or when the cleanliness level drops to zero. The final score is calculated based on the number of successfully served visitors, the speed of service, and the overall hygiene rating of the facility.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are based on direct touch or mouse interaction. The player controls a custodian avatar that moves across the restroom floor. To direct a visitor, the player taps or clicks on the visitor character, which highlights the nearest available stall. The player then taps or clicks on that stall to send the visitor toward it. The visitor moves autonomously along a path, but the player can intervene by tapping the visitor again to cancel or redirect them to a different stall. The urgency meter of each visitor is displayed above their character; a red flashing indicator signals critical status. Cleaning tasks are initiated by tapping or clicking on a soiled stall, which causes the custodian to move to that location and perform a timed cleaning action. The player cannot direct visitors while the custodian is cleaning. A toolbar at the bottom of the screen displays the current cleanliness percentage, the number of available stalls, and a timer for the current wave of visitors. The game uses a single-tap control scheme for all actions; there are no virtual buttons or joysticks. The player can pause the game by tapping a pause icon in the upper-right corner. The game provides no tutorial; all mechanics are learned through trial and error.
