Pin Puzzle Love Story is a mobile puzzle game developed by a small independent studio, released in 2023 for iOS and Android platforms. The game combines traditional jigsaw puzzle mechanics with a narrative-driven romantic storyline. Players assemble fragmented images that depict scenes from a fictional couple’s relationship, progressing through a linear sequence of chapters. Each chapter contains multiple puzzles that, when completed, unlock short text-based dialogue or cutscenes advancing the plot. The visual style employs hand-drawn, pastel-colored illustrations with a consistent soft aesthetic. The game contains no time limits or scoring systems, focusing instead on completion and narrative progression. It includes a total of 120 puzzles across 12 chapters, with puzzle piece counts ranging from 24 to 96 pieces per image. The application requires approximately 200 MB of storage and supports offline play after initial download. No in-app purchases are required to access the full storyline, though optional cosmetic packs for puzzle backgrounds are available.

Gameplay and controls are based on a drag-and-drop interface. The main screen displays a scattered pile of puzzle pieces on the left side and an empty grid outline on the right. Players select a piece by tapping it, which highlights the piece and allows it to be dragged with a finger. The piece snaps into place when positioned within a 10-pixel tolerance of its correct location on the grid. Incorrect placement results in the piece returning to the pile. A rotation function is absent; all pieces are pre-oriented. The grid can be zoomed in or out using a two-finger pinch gesture. A hint button, located at the bottom of the screen, highlights the correct position for one random unsolved piece per use, with a cooldown of 30 seconds. The puzzle pile can be sorted by edge pieces or color by tapping a sorting icon in the upper right corner. Progress is automatically saved after each piece placement. To navigate between chapters, players return to the main menu, which displays locked chapters as grayed-out icons until the previous chapter’s puzzles are fully completed. The game does not support multiplayer or leaderboard features.
