Description
Peggle [FLASH] is a browser-based puzzle game developed by PopCap Games and released in 2007 as a free, simplified version of the full Peggle title. The game is built on the Adobe Flash platform and was designed for direct play within web browsers. It features a single-player mode centered around a series of levels, each containing a grid of colored pegs. The objective is to clear all orange pegs from the board using a limited number of shots. The game employs a physics engine to simulate the trajectory and bouncing of a ball launched from the top of the screen. A key mechanic is the "Fever Mode," which activates when the ball strikes a green peg, causing a brief period of score multiplication and a visual effect. The game includes a single main character, Bjorn the Unicorn, who provides a power-up that guides the ball toward the nearest orange peg after a set number of bounces. Peggle [FLASH] is notable for its accessibility, requiring no installation beyond a Flash plugin, and for its role in popularizing the Peggle franchise through free online distribution. The game concludes with a victory sequence and a final score tally.

Instructions
Gameplay in Peggle [FLASH] is controlled entirely through mouse input. The player aims a cannon located at the top of the screen by moving the mouse cursor horizontally. A dotted trajectory line indicates the predicted path of the ball. A left mouse click fires the ball. The ball descends, bouncing off pegs, walls, and obstacles. Each peg struck is removed from the board. The primary goal is to eliminate all orange pegs. Blue pegs award points but are not required for level completion. Green pegs trigger Fever Mode, which multiplies points and adds a visual glow. The player is given a set number of balls per level, displayed in a counter at the bottom. If a ball falls off the bottom of the screen without hitting an orange peg, it is lost. The game ends when all orange pegs are cleared or when all balls are used. After each shot, the player may click a "Reset" button to restart the current level. The interface includes a score display, a level indicator, and a "Quit" button to return to the main menu. No keyboard controls are used.
