Description
My Hospital Learn Care is a simulation video game developed for mobile platforms, primarily targeting young children. The game places the player in the role of a medical professional managing a small hospital. The core objective involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal patients, each presenting with distinct symptoms such as a broken bone, a fever, or a toothache. The game environment is presented in a colorful, two-dimensional cartoon style. The hospital contains several treatment rooms, including an examination room, an X-ray room, a dental clinic, and a pharmacy. The player progresses through a series of patient cases, each requiring a specific sequence of actions to complete a successful treatment. The game does not feature a narrative story or character progression beyond the completion of individual patient scenarios. It is designed to introduce basic medical concepts and tools in a simplified, non-threatening manner. The interface relies on touch-based interactions, with no text-based dialogue or complex menus. The game is available on both iOS and Android operating systems.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are executed entirely through touch gestures on the device screen. The player begins each level by selecting a patient from a waiting room. The patient is then moved to the examination room. The player must tap on the patient to begin the diagnosis. A set of medical tools, such as a stethoscope, thermometer, and otoscope, are displayed on a toolbar at the bottom of the screen. The player selects a tool by tapping its icon, then taps the appropriate body part of the patient to use it. For example, tapping the thermometer icon and then the patient’s mouth initiates a temperature reading. After diagnosis, the player must move the patient to the correct treatment room. This is done by tapping a directional arrow or a room icon on the screen. In the treatment room, the player follows on-screen visual prompts. For a broken leg, the player may be required to tap and drag a bandage roll onto the leg. For a dental issue, the player taps a toothbrush or drill icon and then taps the patient’s mouth. The game provides visual feedback, such as a checkmark or a happy expression from the patient, when a step is completed correctly. There is no penalty for incorrect actions; the player is simply guided to repeat the step. The game ends when all patients in a given session have been treated. The player can then start a new session with a different set of patients.
