Description

Match 3D Puzzle Mania is a digital puzzle game developed for mobile platforms, released in 2021 by a small independent studio. The game combines elements of traditional match-three mechanics with three-dimensional object recognition. Players are presented with a cluttered, rotating three-dimensional space containing various everyday items, such as toys, tools, food items, and geometric shapes. The objective is to locate and select pairs of identical objects from the pile. Unlike flat grid-based puzzle games, the objects in Match 3D Puzzle Mania are rendered as fully textured 3D models and can be viewed from multiple angles by rotating the scene. The game features a series of levels, each with an increasing number of objects and a time limit. Successful matches remove objects from the play area, and clearing all objects before the timer expires completes the level. The game includes a scoring system based on speed and accuracy, with bonus points awarded for consecutive matches. A hint system is available, providing a brief visual highlight of a matching pair. The game does not include a narrative or character progression; its focus is solely on pattern recognition and spatial memory.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are designed for touchscreen interfaces. The player interacts with the three-dimensional play area by swiping left or right on the screen to rotate the entire object pile. Tapping on an object selects it, highlighting its outline. Tapping a second object that is identical to the first confirms the match, causing both objects to disappear with a brief animation. If the second object does not match, the selection is cleared, and a short penalty delay occurs. The game does not allow dragging or moving objects; all interaction is limited to rotation and selection. A timer bar is displayed at the top of the screen, counting down from a level-specific duration. Below the timer, a progress bar shows the number of remaining objects. A pause button in the upper right corner halts the game and opens a menu with options to resume, restart the level, or return to the level select screen. The hint button, located in the lower left, can be used a limited number of times per level. The game also includes a settings menu accessible from the main screen, where players can adjust sound effects, music volume, and toggle vibration feedback. No keyboard or controller support is provided; the game is exclusively designed for touch input.
