Instructions
Gameplay is turn-based. Each player begins with a hand of five cards drawn from a constructed deck of forty cards. The objective is to reduce the opponent's life points, represented as Audience Approval, from 20 to 0. A turn consists of three phases: Draw, Main, and End. During the Draw phase, one card is drawn from the deck. In the Main phase, a player may play one Trick card and one Prop card per turn. Trick cards are the primary offensive and defensive tools, categorized into three types: Misdirection, which forces the opponent to discard cards; Reveal, which deals direct damage to Audience Approval; and Grand Finale, which requires a setup of two prior Trick cards to activate a high-damage effect. Prop cards provide passive bonuses or modify the effects of Trick cards. Each card has a Mana cost, represented by Focus Points, which regenerate fully at the start of each turn. The End phase concludes the turn. Controls on PC utilize the mouse for card selection and targeting, with keyboard shortcuts for ending the turn (Spacebar) and viewing the graveyard (G). On consoles, the left analog stick navigates the hand, the right analog stick selects targets, and the X button (PlayStation) or A button (Nintendo Switch) confirms a card play. A tutorial mode is available, covering the basic rules and card interactions.
