Gameplay and controls are based on drag-and-drop interaction. The player uses a mouse cursor or touch input to select an item from a central pile or shelf. The selected item is highlighted and can be moved across the screen. The player must then release the item over a matching target zone, such as a drawer labeled "Cutlery" or a shelf marked "Spices." Correct placement locks the item in place and adds to a score multiplier. Incorrect placement causes the item to snap back to its original position, and a time penalty is applied. A timer is displayed at the top of the screen, counting down from a level-specific limit. A progress bar shows the percentage of items sorted. The interface includes a pause button, a hint button that briefly highlights one misplaced item, and a restart button.
