Description
Highway Driver 3D is a mobile simulation game focused on long-distance highway driving. The game places the player in the role of a truck driver tasked with transporting cargo across a series of progressively challenging routes. The primary environment is a multi-lane highway system set in a generic, open-world landscape featuring varying weather conditions and time-of-day cycles. The game emphasizes realistic vehicle physics, including acceleration, braking, and turning dynamics, as well as fuel management and cargo integrity. Players must adhere to traffic rules, such as speed limits and lane discipline, while navigating around AI-controlled vehicles. The objective is to complete deliveries within a set time limit without causing damage to the cargo or the truck. The game includes a fleet of different trucks, each with distinct handling characteristics and cargo capacities. Progression is achieved by earning currency from successful deliveries, which can be used to purchase upgrades or new vehicles. The game is designed for single-player sessions, with no multiplayer or online connectivity features.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are structured around a virtual interface. The primary control scheme uses an on-screen steering wheel for directional input. Acceleration and braking are managed by separate foot pedal buttons located on the right side of the screen. A gear shift interface, typically an automatic or manual toggle, is available for adjusting speed. The player’s view is presented from a third-person perspective behind the truck, with an optional interior cabin camera. The heads-up display includes a speedometer, fuel gauge, trip timer, and a mini-map showing the route and upcoming exits. The player must follow directional arrows and road signs to reach the designated drop-off point. Collisions with other vehicles or barriers result in cargo damage and a reduction in the final payment. Fuel stations are located at intervals along the highway; the player must pull over and refuel by stopping the truck at the pump and pressing a refuel button. The game also includes a lane assist feature that provides haptic feedback if the vehicle drifts out of its lane. To complete a delivery, the player must park the truck within a marked zone at the destination, then press a confirm button to end the trip.
