Description

Hexa Color Sort is a puzzle video game released for mobile platforms. The game presents a series of levels, each containing a set of hexagonal containers. These containers are partially filled with colored liquid layers. The objective of each level is to sort the colored layers so that each container holds only a single, uniform color. The game employs a physics-based simulation where the colored liquids behave with fluid dynamics, including surface tension and pouring mechanics. The difficulty increases with the number of colors and containers introduced in later levels. The game features a minimalist visual design, with a clean interface and a muted color palette. No narrative or character elements are present. The game is designed for single-player interaction and does not include multiplayer or online components. Levels are completed sequentially, and the game tracks the number of moves taken per level. A limited number of undo actions or hints may be provided, often replenished through in-game mechanics or optional purchases.

Instructions

Gameplay is controlled entirely through touch input. The player selects a source hexagonal container by tapping on it. This action lifts the topmost colored layer from that container. The player then taps a destination container to pour the held layer into it. The pour is only permitted if the destination container is not full and if the top layer of the destination container matches the color of the poured layer, or if the destination container is empty. The game enforces a rule that a layer cannot be poured onto a different color. The fluid simulation then animates the transfer. The player may also tap the same container twice to cancel a selection. The interface displays the current level number, a move counter, and buttons for undo, restart, and access to the level select menu. The game provides no tutorial beyond the initial level, relying on the player to infer the rules through interaction. The controls are responsive and require precise tapping to avoid accidental selections. The game does not use any accelerometer or gyroscope inputs.
