Instructions
Gameplay and controls are structured around real-time combat, exploration, and base building. The player character moves with the left analog stick or W, A, S, D keys. The right analog stick or mouse controls the camera. The primary attack is mapped to the right trigger or left mouse button, while a secondary weapon or tool is assigned to the left trigger or right mouse button. The player can switch between three equipment slots using the D-pad or number keys 1, 2, and 3. The inventory is accessed via the start button or the I key, where items can be crafted, combined, or equipped. Building mode is toggled with the B key or the Y button, allowing placement of walls, traps, and repair stations using collected resources. The player can sprint by holding the left bumper or the Shift key, and dodge by pressing the A button or the Spacebar. A stamina bar depletes with sprinting and dodging and regenerates when idle. A health bar and a corruption meter are displayed at the top of the screen; corruption increases when the player lingers near active nodes or takes damage from corrupted enemies, reducing maximum health until cleansed at a campfire. Campfires are placed manually and serve as save points and crafting stations. The map is accessed with the M key or the touchpad, showing discovered nodes, resources, and player-placed structures. Enemy attacks are telegraphed by visual cues such as glowing eyes or ground tremors, requiring timed dodges or block actions. The player can also use a ranged weapon, such as a bow or sling, by aiming with the right stick or mouse and firing with the right trigger.
