Description
Draw Save Puzzle is a mobile puzzle game developed by a small independent studio, first released in 2020. The game presents a minimalist visual style, featuring a white background with simple black line drawings representing obstacles, hazards, and a central character. The objective is to protect a small, round creature from a series of environmental dangers, such as spikes, falling blocks, and moving saws. Each level presents a static or slowly evolving threat scenario. The player must draw a single continuous line on the screen to create a barrier or shield that redirects or blocks the incoming hazards. The line is drawn in real-time and remains in place for the duration of the level. The game consists of over one hundred levels, each increasing in complexity and requiring more precise line placement. There is no time limit, and the player can redraw the line as many times as needed before the hazards activate. The game does not feature a narrative or character progression; the focus is entirely on spatial reasoning and problem-solving. The physics engine simulates gravity and collision, meaning drawn lines can be used to deflect falling objects or create ramps. The game is available on iOS and Android platforms, with a single purchase model and no in-app advertisements.
Instructions
The player controls the game entirely through touch input on a touchscreen device. To begin a level, the player taps the screen. The central character, a small circle, remains stationary at a fixed point. Hazards, such as spikes or moving blocks, are indicated by black outlines. The player draws a line by placing a finger on the screen and dragging it across the surface. The line appears as a solid black stroke. The line can be drawn in any shape, including curves, straight segments, or closed loops. Once the finger is lifted, the line becomes a permanent physical object. After the line is drawn, the player taps a "Start" button, which activates the level's hazards. The hazards then move according to their predefined paths. The drawn line interacts with these hazards based on physics: falling objects bounce off the line, moving saws are blocked, and spikes are covered. If the character is hit by a hazard, the level ends and must be restarted. The player can erase the drawn line at any time before activating the hazards by tapping an "Undo" button. There is no limit to the number of redraws. The game provides no hints or tutorials beyond the first level. The interface consists of a single screen with the level number displayed in the corner, an undo button, and a start button. The game does not use any virtual buttons for movement or character control.
