The game is a variant of the classic Minesweeper formula, replacing numerical tiles and hidden mines with a grid of colored traffic cones and hidden "potholes." The objective is to clear a rectangular board of all cones without triggering a pothole. Each cone displays a number indicating how many adjacent potholes are present in the eight surrounding cells. The game features a cartoonish visual style with bright, saturated colors and a whimsical soundtrack. The board size and difficulty are adjustable, ranging from a 9x9 beginner grid to a 30x16 expert grid. A scoring system tracks the number of cones cleared, time elapsed, and consecutive correct flags placed. Gameplay and controls are executed through a mouse or touch interface. The primary action is a left-click or tap on a cone to reveal it. If the cone conceals a pothole, the game ends immediately. If the cone is safe, it displays a number from 1 to 8, indicating the count of adjacent potholes. A right-click or long-press places a flag on a cone, marking it as a suspected pothole. A second right-click or long-press changes the flag to a question mark, indicating uncertainty. A third click removes the marker. The game automatically reveals all adjacent empty cells when a cone with a zero value is uncovered. The player wins by revealing all safe cones and correctly flagging all potholes. A chord action is available: clicking a revealed number cone with the mouse wheel or a double-tap will automatically reveal all adjacent unflagged cones if the number of flags placed around it matches the cone's number. The interface includes a reset button, a timer, a pothole counter showing the total number of potholes remaining, and a menu for adjusting sound and visual settings.
