Description

Boom Blast Puzzle Game is a tile-matching puzzle video game developed for mobile platforms. The game presents a grid-based playing field populated with colored blocks, each marked with a numerical value. The primary objective is to clear the grid by selecting groups of adjacent blocks that share the same color. When a group is selected, the blocks explode and are removed from the field. The numerical value on each block indicates the number of times that block must be tapped or activated before it is destroyed. Blocks with a value of one are destroyed immediately upon selection, while blocks with higher values require multiple activations, decreasing by one with each successful tap. The game introduces a chain reaction mechanic: when a block is destroyed, it may trigger the activation of adjacent blocks of the same color, creating cascading explosions. The game ends when the grid becomes completely filled with blocks, preventing any further moves. The game features a scoring system that awards points based on the number of blocks destroyed in a single action and the complexity of chain reactions. Levels are structured with increasing difficulty, introducing new block types and grid configurations. The game does not include a narrative or character-driven story.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are executed entirely through touch input on a touchscreen interface. The player interacts with the grid by tapping on individual blocks. A single tap selects a block and initiates its activation. For blocks with a value greater than one, the number displayed on the block decreases by one with each tap. The block is destroyed only when its value reaches zero. To clear a group of adjacent same-colored blocks, the player must tap any block within that group. The game automatically identifies all connected blocks of the same color and destroys them simultaneously. The player does not need to draw lines or swipe across blocks. After a group is destroyed, the remaining blocks above the cleared space fall downward to fill the gaps. New blocks then spawn from the top of the grid to refill empty columns. The game provides a visual indicator of the current score and remaining moves or time, depending on the level mode. A pause button is located in the corner of the screen, allowing the player to suspend the session. The game does not support keyboard, mouse, or controller input. No tutorial or hint system is present in the base version of the game.
