Description
Bike Racing Adventure is a 2D side-scrolling motorcycle racing video game developed by Digital Pixels Studio and released in 2018 for mobile platforms (iOS and Android). The game simulates off-road motorcycle racing across a series of procedurally generated dirt tracks. The player controls a single rider on a motocross bike, navigating through varied terrain including hills, valleys, mud pits, and rocky surfaces. The objective is to complete each race course as quickly as possible while avoiding crashes and maintaining balance. The game features a career mode with multiple leagues, each containing a set of races that unlock progressively. A time trial mode is also available, allowing players to compete against their own best times. The visual style employs a pixel-art aesthetic with a fixed camera perspective that follows the rider. The physics engine models momentum, gravity, and surface friction, affecting the bike’s handling on different ground types. The game includes a basic upgrade system where in-game currency earned from races can be spent on improving engine power, suspension, and tire grip. No multiplayer or online leaderboard functionality is present.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are based on a two-button interface. The left side of the screen contains a tilt control or a virtual button for leaning the rider backward. The right side contains a button for leaning forward. The rider’s body position affects the bike’s center of mass and wheel traction. To accelerate, the player must lean forward while the bike is in motion. To brake or slow down, the player leans backward. The bike automatically moves forward when the rider is in a neutral position. Crashes occur when the rider’s angle exceeds a threshold relative to the bike, such as during a steep jump or a sudden stop. The player must balance the rider by tapping the appropriate lean button to keep the bike upright. The game provides no manual gear shifting; acceleration and deceleration are controlled solely by body position. The race begins with a countdown timer. The player must cross the finish line to complete a race. A progress bar at the top of the screen shows the distance remaining. The game displays a speedometer and a timer during each race. After a crash, the rider respawns at the last checkpoint with a time penalty. The controls are responsive to touch input, with no analog sensitivity; each tap applies a fixed degree of lean.
