Description
Baby Cat Daycare is a digital simulation game developed for mobile platforms. The game places the player in the role of a caretaker responsible for the supervision and well-being of a group of anthropomorphic kittens. The primary objective is to manage a daycare facility, ensuring that each cat’s basic needs are met, including hunger, hygiene, energy, and happiness. The game environment consists of a single indoor room filled with interactive objects such as food bowls, litter boxes, beds, and toys. Players must attend to multiple cats simultaneously, each with its own set of fluctuating status bars. The game operates on a real-time cycle, where neglect of a cat’s needs results in visible distress indicators, such as crying or lethargy. Progression is achieved by completing daily tasks, earning in-game currency, and unlocking new items or cat breeds. The visual style is characterized by bright, pastel colors and simple, rounded character designs. No narrative or story mode is present; the gameplay loop is purely task-oriented and repetitive. The game includes optional microtransactions for cosmetic items or speed boosts.
Instructions
Gameplay and controls are executed entirely through touch input on a touchscreen interface. The player interacts with the environment by tapping on specific objects or cats. To feed a cat, the player taps the food bowl, then taps the hungry cat. To clean, the player taps the litter box, then taps the soiled area. To put a cat to sleep, the player taps a bed, then taps the tired cat. To play, the player taps a toy, then taps the cat to initiate a mini-game, typically a simple drag-and-drop or tapping sequence. Each cat displays a status bar above its head, color-coded for hunger (red), hygiene (blue), energy (yellow), and happiness (green). Tapping a cat directly brings up a detailed status panel showing exact numerical values. The game provides a pause function that freezes all timers. A shop menu is accessed via an icon in the corner, allowing purchase of new furniture, food types, or decorative items using earned coins. A settings menu allows adjustment of sound effects and music volume. No keyboard or controller input is supported. The game auto-saves progress upon closing.
