Description

American Block Sniper Survival Online is a first-person shooter video game developed by a small independent studio and released for personal computers and mobile platforms. The game is set in a blocky, low-polygon open world environment, reminiscent of sandbox construction games. The primary objective is to survive against waves of hostile, block-shaped enemies while utilizing a sniper rifle as the main weapon. Players assume the role of a lone marksman positioned in elevated, fortified locations across various maps, including urban ruins, desert outposts, and forest clearings. The game emphasizes long-range precision shooting and resource management, as ammunition and health supplies are limited. Enemies approach from multiple directions, increasing in number and speed with each successive wave. The game features a single-player campaign mode and an online multiplayer mode where up to sixteen players compete or cooperate in survival scenarios. The visual style is deliberately simplistic, with flat textures and geometric shapes, focusing gameplay on mechanical accuracy rather than graphical fidelity. The game includes a basic progression system, unlocking new sniper rifle variants and cosmetic modifications for the player character.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are centered on the sniper rifle mechanics and character movement. The player character is controlled using a standard first-person perspective. On personal computers, the mouse is used to aim and look around, while the keyboard controls movement: the W, A, S, and D keys move the character forward, left, backward, and right. The spacebar initiates a jump, and the Shift key activates a sprint, which drains a stamina bar. The left mouse button fires the sniper rifle, and the right mouse button activates the scope view, which zooms in for precise targeting. The scroll wheel adjusts the scope magnification level. The R key reloads the weapon, and the number keys 1 through 4 switch between the sniper rifle, a secondary pistol, a melee knife, and a throwable grenade. The Q key allows the player to lean left or right from cover. On mobile platforms, a virtual joystick on the left side of the screen controls movement, while a touch-and-drag area on the right controls aiming. A dedicated fire button and scope button are displayed on the screen. The game interface includes a heads-up display showing health, stamina, ammunition count, and a wave counter. A mini-map in the corner indicates enemy positions as red dots. The player must manage a breath-holding mechanic while scoped; holding the left Shift key stabilizes the aim for a limited time before the character’s breathing causes the scope to sway.
