Description

2048 Cube Run is a mobile puzzle game that combines the sliding tile mechanics of the original 2048 with a three-dimensional cube interface. The game presents a single cube composed of smaller numbered tiles on each visible face. The objective is to merge identical numbered tiles by sliding rows or columns across the cube’s surfaces, ultimately creating a tile with the number 2048. Unlike the flat grid of the original, the cube’s geometry allows tiles to wrap around edges, moving from one face to an adjacent face. The game tracks the highest tile achieved and the current score, which increases with each successful merge. The cube can be rotated in three-dimensional space to view all faces, though the playable area remains a continuous surface. The game ends when no further moves are possible on any face of the cube.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are based on swiping gestures on a touchscreen. The player swipes left, right, up, or down on the screen to shift all tiles on the visible face in that direction. Tiles that reach an edge of the current face continue onto the adjacent face, maintaining their direction of movement. When two tiles of the same number collide, they merge into a single tile with the sum of their values. The cube can be rotated by tapping and dragging on empty space, allowing the player to view and interact with any face. The interface displays the current score, the highest tile value, and a button to restart the game. No time limit or move counter is imposed. The game provides haptic feedback on successful merges. The control scheme is designed for one-handed operation, with all actions performed via touch input.
